Elias Gaona

Elias Gaona III went to be with our Lord April 28, 2020. He was born in Raymondville, Texas on June 3, 1955 to Elias Gaona, Jr. and Lupe Garcia. He attended Roosevelt schools and graduated in 1973. Elias retired from Southwestern Bell after 20 years of service as an operator and linesman. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Shelby Cheyenne. Survivors include his daughters Crystal Gaona-Gonzales and her husband Stephen Gonzales of Burleson, TX, and Jolean Coffman and her husband Michael Coffman of Wesley Chapel, Florida; 7 grandchildren; brother Juan Gaona; sisters Yolanda Roberts and Maria Elena all of Lubbock, TX. Elias enjoyed remodeling and renovating his home. His hobbies included riding his motorcycles and visiting his girls. He was the sweetest, funniest, loving man who never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by many. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 2 at 10:00AM at Resthaven Cemetery in Southland, Texas.
