Eduardo Sandoval, fondly known as "El Guero," passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on June 25, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas, Eduardo was a dedicated and talented mechanic, known not only for his skill in fixing cars but also for his warm personality that endeared him to many.
Throughout his life, Eduardo was an outgoing person who loved to engage in the simple joys of life. He was passionate about fishing, a pastime that provided him great happiness, and he cherished the moments spent with family and friends. His interests extended beyond fishing; he was an enthusiastic dancer, enjoyed playing Bingo, and often found joy in gambling. His lively spirit was complemented by his love for watching western movies.
Eduardo's proudest accomplishments included teaching his kids the value of hard work, which he exemplified through his profession. He took pride in making his customers happy, showcasing his commitment to service and craftsmanship. Eduardo had a special bond with his pet Pote, who was a constant companion to him.
He is survived by his loving family, including Mary Valdez, his children Macheal, Michael, Maryann, Eric, Adrian, and Jacob Sandoval. He also leaves behind his brothers Bobby, Frankie, and Lupe Sandoval, and sisters Hope Quinar, Patsy Reed, and Mary Garcia. Eduardo was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandkids, all of whom will carry his memory forward.
He was predeceased by his father Jesse Sandoval, mother Maggie Alvarez, and brothers Jesse Jr., Joe, and Ralph Sandoval.
Family and friends will remember Eduardo for his infectious laughter, his skillful hands, and his heart full of love. His presence will be deeply missed, yet the memories of his vivacious spirit will live on in the hearts of all those he touched.
