Domingo Duenes

Domingo L. Duenes passed from this life on March 2, 2022 at the age of 72. He was born August 7, 1949 in Beeville, TX to Daniel Duenes and Feliciana Lopez. He married his childhood sweetheart Alice Duenes on October 11, 1969 in Three Rivers, TX, and they shared 52 years together. Domingo was a member of One Accord Church and was a retired Baptist pastor who enjoyed telling people about Jesus. He will be remembered for sharing his faith and wanting everyone to know about his Lord and Savior. He loved his grandchildren and his great-granddaughter and enjoyed playing football with his grandsons.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Alice Duenez; his son Joseph Duenez of Canyon, TX; his daughters Lori Wood and husband David of Amarillo, TX, Tanya Duenez of Dalhart, TX, and Rebecca Duenez of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren Celeste Morales, Kristen Trevino, Naomi Myers and husband Scott, D.J. Petties, Alexis Petties, Christian Petties and wife Bana, Shaun Petties, Joshua Petties, Jarek Wood, John Mark Wood and great-granddaughter Trinity Little.

Domingo was preceded in death by his parents Daniel Duenes and Feliciana Lopez and his brother Paul Duenez.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 7 from 3:00 to 9:00 with a prayer service at 7:00. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 8 at Primera Iglesia Bautista at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Primera Iglesia Bautista or the Parkinson's Foundation.
