Dominga Rodriguez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dominga Rodriguez, born on April 8, 1944, in Charlotte, Texas. Dominga left us peacefully on March 17, 2025, at the age of 80, after a life well-lived, marked by love, resilience, and an unwavering spirit.

Dominga was a devoted wife to Crespin Rodriguez for 60 cherished years. Together, they built a life filled with love, adventure, and an enduring commitment to family. Dominga is also survived by four daughters, 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her strong character and radiant spirit.

A true homemaker, Dominga found pleasure in the simple joys of life. She had a passion for gardening, finding solace in nurturing the earth. Her love for travel brought her to beautiful places, where she created cherished memories with her family. Dominga's enthusiasm for shopping was matched only by her love for attending church revivals, where her faith flourished. Her appreciation for music filled her home with warmth and happiness.

Dominga will be remembered for her unwavering strength, brilliant smile, and deep honesty. Her attention to detail and sophisticated demeanor left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was a beacon of love and kindness, guiding her family through life's challenges with grace and compassion.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Jesus and Sara (Ruiz) Gutierrez, Ascension Ruiz Gutierrez, & Buena Ventura Gutierrez Ornelas.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Providence Baptist Church 1301 49th St. Lubbock, Texas.

Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
