Diane Dominguez, born on April 19, 1964, in Lubbock, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025. Diane was a devoted homemaker and a beloved wife who touched the lives of many throughout her journey. Her legacy as a caretaker is profound; she welcomed numerous children into her home over the years, raising them with love and compassion.
Diane’s proudest accomplishments include her unwavering dedication to her family and community. A proud member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Diane took joy in sharing her culinary talents, as she was particularly known for making the best tortillas. She also dedicated countless hours volunteering at her grandchildren’s schools, helping to create memorable events and parties that highlighted her deep love for her family.
She was a loving grandmother whose greatest joy came from her grandchildren – Mario Jonah Dominguez, Sebastian Dominguez, Angeleyes Dominguez, Avalynn Escalon, Aviyan Espinosa, Lily Diaz, Amari Diaz, Isiah Dominguez, Paisley Dominguez, Olivia and Sophia Dominguez. Diane cherished each moment spent with them, ensuring their lives were filled with warmth and affection.
Diane’s heart was equally dedicated to her beloved husband and best friend, Mario Dominguez. Their love was a testament to a beautiful partnership filled with mutual respect and friendship. She also greatly valued her relationships with her children, including daughter Apryl Dominguez, son Mario Issak Dominguez, daughter Juanita Farias, son-in-law Shawn Diaz, and daughter-in-law Angela Ramos, consistently showing unwavering support and encouragement.
She is survived by her sister Deborah (Tony) Urive and her brothers Oscar (Jasmine) Farias and Ysidro (Monica) Serna, as well as her cherished nephews Steven Garcia, Maddox Farias, Domingo "DJ" Farias, Mason Farias and nieces Stephanie O’Dell and Makenzie Farias.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents Domingo and Lily Farias and her brother Domingo Farias, Jr. Their love and spirit will forever live on through her family, who remember her as a caring individual always ready to lend a helping hand.
