David Jason Harris

David Jason Harris was born on December 28, 1974, and passed away peacefully on August 11, 2023 from his home in Goree, TX.

Jason was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend and known by all for his wit and humor. He was a 1993 graduate of Goree High School. Jason loved spending time with his family, cracking jokes, and adding lyrics to songs. He will be deeply missed by all who know him.
Jason is survived by his children Brandon, Zoe, and Ava Harris, his mother Gayle Hudson, and his fiancée Dee Toliver and children D'Keydren, Brandon, Kassidee, and Madisen, his sisters Gina, Kourtnee, and Jenna, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Billy Harris and his stepfather Ray Hudson.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 19 at the Goree School Cafeteria at 2:00 p.m. to share memories with loved ones and friends.
