David Gonzalez Cruz

David G. Cruz went to his eternal home on August 25, 2021, at the age of 57. He was born January 1, 1964, in Lubbock, TX to Augustine and Maria Cruz. On January 12, 1987, he married his beloved wife Gloria and they have shared 34 years together. He was a member of Alliance Church and employed at Covenant Specialty as a heart monitor. David enjoyed riding motorcycles, buying and flipping cars, working in the garage, walking puppies, playing dominos, and cooking favorite meals. He will be remembered for never knowing a stranger, loving people, and joking around. David was the strongest man most people knew. He never lost his faith and trust in God.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Gloria, his daughter Desiree (Roy) Reyna, his brother Andy Cruz his sisters Dora Mendez, Sylvia Cruz, and Angelica Daegle; and his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Augustine and Maria Cruz and Mercy Herrera.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 27 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
