It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Villarreal, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on June 19, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on November 5, 1962, Daniel lived a life that was a testament to hard work, devotion, and unwavering love for his family.Daniel was known for his strength-both as a man and as a pillar within his family. Throughout his life, he offered sage advice and a listening ear to those he loved. His dedication to his work in roofing and construction reflected his character; he was a diligent provider, always ensuring that his family had everything they needed. Family gatherings were the highlights of Daniel's life, where his infectious laughter and joy resonated through every room. He had a unique talent for cooking, often found in the kitchen creating meals that brought everyone together. Daniel cherished playing with his children and grandchildren, embodying the spirit of play and joy that defined him.An avid lover of life, Daniel found happiness in the simple pleasures of riding around town, dancing, and playing sports. A true pool shark, he delighted in challenging family and friends alike, sharing joyous moments over the game. He took immense pride in his family, believing that their successes were his greatest achievements.Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Grace Gonzales, of Lubbock, Texas. He leaves behind his daughters, Lee Ann Guerra from Brownfield and Rivia Mendoza of Lubbock, as well as his two sons, Daniel Lee Villarreal and Nathaniel Villarreal. Daniel also embraced his role as a stepfather to Ian, Gabriel, and Jesus Manriquez, and he adored his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose bright futures he always celebrated.He is preceded in death by his father, Domingo, his mother, Maria Raquel Villarreal, his brothers Jose Luis, David, and Domingo Villarreal, his sister, Janie Villarreal, and his beloved daughters, Cierra and Chyanne Villarreal. Their memories live on in the stories shared by those who remain.A memorial service for Daniel Villarreal will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring his remarkable life and sharing memories that bring the warmth of his spirit back to the forefront. A celebration of life will follow, allowing everyone to reminisce and reflect on the joy he brought into their lives. Daniel Villarreal's legacy of love, laughter, and hard work will forever resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
