Daniel Gonzalez Sr, a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 2, 2026. Daniel’s life was a testament to hard work, generosity, and deep love for those around him.

He was born on March 20, 1965, in Fresno, CA, to Celia and the late Nicolas Gonzalez Sr. Daniel spent 46 years as a dedicated mechanic, known not only for his skill but also for his honesty and willingness to help anyone in need. His kind, giving heart and gentle humor made him a friend to all who met him.

Daniel will be dearly missed by his wife, Suzy Adame, and his children: Sanjuanita Reyna (Edward), Elizabeth Gonzalez (Jimmy), Danielle Cupich (Steven), Daniel Gonzalez Jr., Jessica Paz (Alberto), and Maria Gonzalez (Tony). He was blessed with 25 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.

He is also survived by his loving mother, Celia, and his siblings: Nicolas Gonzalez Jr. (Rebecca), Conce Gonzalez (Gloria), Sylvia Gonzalez-Phipps, Anita Gonzalez, Sally Flores (Sonny), and numerous extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Christina; his son, Michael; and his father, Nicolas Gonzalez Sr. Though he has left this world, Daniel’s spirit will live on in the love and kindness he shared and in the family he cherished so deeply.

Daniel’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and service—a life well lived and a heart that never stopped giving. His memory will continue to be a guiding light for all who knew and loved him.
