Cheryl Cook

Cheryl Ann Cook passed away on December 23, 2025, in Brownfield, Texas, at the age of 74. Born on June 11, 1951, in Medford, Oregon, she was the daughter of Robert Cook and Shirley Pescatore. Cheryl was part of a close-knit family that included her two sisters, Terri Cook and Lori Pescatore, and her two brothers, Bobby Cook and Jon Pescatore. She was also the proud mother of her son, Joseph Pescatore. Those who knew Cheryl will remember her for her vibrant personality and the warmth she brought into every room. She had a remarkable gift for giving nicknames to those she loved—each one a small token of affection that reflected her deep connections with others. Her radiant smile could brighten even the darkest day, and her quick wit often left friends and family laughing. Cheryl’s memory was famously sharp; she never forgot a face or a story. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her. She was laid to rest at the Lubbock Cemetery on December 29, 2025 at 1 p.m.
