Carmen Ruiz

Carmen Ruiz, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away peacefully and painlessly on January 25, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on October 28, 1935, in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico, Carmen was an inspirational figure known for her beauty, sense of humor, and respectful demeanor.

Carmen's journey to the United States began when she immigrated in 1946, with her commitment and resilience leading her to become a proud U.S. citizen in 1983. She dedicated herself to the electronic industry for 14 years, a testament to her hard-working spirit. Educated at an electronic vocational school, Carmen not only excelled in her career but also imparted valuable life lessons to her son, David Ruiz, instilling in him the importance of hard work and the value of appreciating what one has.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Carmen had a love for classic Spanish movies and enjoyed spending time with her pets, bringing joy and warmth to her everyday life. She is remembered fondly by her brothers Marco Ruiz, Sr. and Frank Ruiz, her son David, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

Carmen was preceded in death by her father Alejandro Ruiz, mother Maria Reyes Ruiz, and siblings Ruben, Sam, Alex Jr., Vickie Adame, and Josie Gutierrez. While her absence leaves a void, her legacy will endure through the love and values she shared with those around her.
