Services for Carmen E. Marquez, 89 of Lubbock, Texas will be at 10am Wednesday October 30, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Rene Perez. Interment will be at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Family and friends are invited to pray the rosary at 7pm on Tuesday October 29, 2019 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Carmen E. Marquez was called up to heaven to be with our loving Jesus Christ on October 27, 2019 at Windmill Village. She was born on June 27, 1930 in Muzquiz, Coahuila Mexico to her parents Blas & Carmen Elguezabal. Carmen married her husband on January 23, 1955 in Mexico, He passed away on July 27, 1975, they were married for 20 years. Carmen was a devoted mother and grandmother. She remembered everyone’s birthday and always had a smile on her face. Carmen was proceeded in death by her parents, siblings and husband. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. Her survivors include her son Victor wife Belma Marquez, daughters Irene husband Freddie Ramirez, Martha Marquez, 9 grandchildren, 19 grat grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and 1 brother Maximiliano Elguezabal from Oregon.
