Carlota Ramos

Carlota Carrillo Ramos passed away from this life on July 3, 2024, at the age of 92. She was born November 4, 1931, in Lubbock, Texas to Refugio Carrillo and Delia Chavez. Carlota married her husband Ralph Ramos on August 5, 1950, in Lubbock, Texas where they shared 33 beautiful years together.

Carlota was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church where she was a part of the Guadalupanes. She helped with voter registration and the food bank. Carlota enjoyed volunteering in her community, Lubbock City Council; 1 attendee, she loved to travel, playing bingo, dominos, gardening and Granny program. She will always be remembered for her generous heart and her devotion to her children and family.

Carlota is survived by her children; Mary (Toni) Foster, Carlos Ramos, Dilia Ramos, Leticia Ramos; her 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her husband; Ralph Ramos, her son; Rafael Ramos, her granddaughter; Melissa Cervantes and her grandson; Ray Angel Juan Deleon.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Monday, July 8, 2024, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
