Buddy Carl Gregg, Jr. passed from this life on October 27, 2022 at the age of 41. He was born November 30, 1980 to Ann Schooler and Buddy Carl Gregg, Sr. in Lubbock, TX. and attended Estacado High School. He shared four wonderful and loving years with his life partner Michelle Gray. Buddy was a mechanic by trade, but after a motorcycle accident he began working in customer service where he excelled due to his passion for helping people. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his generosity and kindness. Buddy would give his last dollar or the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.
Buddy or "Big Bubba" as he was known to those who love him, is survived by a large and loving family including his mother Ann Schooler, his Godmother Julie Crandall, his sisters Debbie Dent and Joyce Warren, and his brothers Josh and Julian Crandall. Buddy is also survived by two maternal aunts Philomena Culpepper and Sandra "Uncle Man" Jonas, two maternal uncles Tom and Gordy Schooler, his honorary Papaw J.D. Sinor, and numerous cousins. Buddy is the proud uncle of 23 nieces and nephews. Most importantly, he is cherished by the love of his life Michelle Gray and their eight children: Kali, Kennedi, and Zander Gregg, Malachi and Aunya Herrera, Junior Delassontos, James Gould and Kaiu Polzin. Buddy was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents C.T. and Margaret Schooler, his Godfather Whit Crandall, his father Buddy Sr., his honorary MeMaw Judy Sinor, and his younger brother Charles Roland Gregg.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 29 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with Debbie Dent officiating.
