Brenda Zuniga

Brenda Lee Zuniga, 51, passed from this life on November 29, 2023, in Lubbock, TX. She was born on October 31, 1972, in Floydada, TX to Luis Zuniga and Dolores Pesina. She attended Hondo High School and enjoyed attending various churches both locally and out of town. She also enjoyed spending time with the Lord by praying, reading, and meditating on the Word. She will be remembered as a strong and fearless woman of God. She was a protector for those she loved and offered shelter, prayer, and kind words to anyone who would accept it. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. A true One-of-a-Kind! She is survived by Leslie Dominguez (daughter), Toby Zuniga (son), Destiny Dominguez (daughter), Michael Garcia (son), April Zuniga (sister), Angie Ramirez (sister), Anastasia Ramirez (sister), Robert Ramirez Jr. (brother), Shannon Casias (sister), Jessica Zuniga (Sister), Olga Reyna (sister), Veronica Zuniga (sister), Jimmy Coker (brother) and Robert Ramirez Sr. (stepfather) and eight grand-children, one great great grand child on it's way.  She is preceded I death by Juan Jose Pesina (grandfather), Natalia Lara Pesina (grandmother), and John Pecina III (cousin). A visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 3-6pm. Funeral Services will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Saturday, December 9, 2023, beginning at 2:00pm with interment to follow in the Wolfforth Cemetery.
