Bene B. Rendon (90) went to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 23, 2025. He was born March 11,1934 in Kaufman County to Juan and Manuelita Rendon. He married Mary Lou Delira on June 6,1953 and during this union 4 children were born, Bene Jr., Robert, Irma, and Betty Ann. He was a faithful member of El Tempo El Buen Pastor. He was very generous and a tither and gave offings too. He was a loving and caring husband and father. A very hard working man, Bene was a great provider to his family. He worked at Plains Coop Oil Mill for 43 years. After his retirement he devoted his time to work at the church he attended. He also helped his son-in-law at his painting company to make sure everything was done and completed. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Bene is survived by his son Bene Jr. and two sisters Elena and Margarita and a brother Manuel. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Rendon, his son Robert, his two daughters Irma R. Herrera and Betty Ann Rendon, his grandson Benjamin Robert Herrera and his son-in-law Raymond Herrera.

Alex Alejandro, David Duggin, Fabian Gonzales, Ronnie Ruiz, Ruben Alejandro Sr., and Zack Saldana will honor Bene as Pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 28th from 3:00-9:00 p.m., at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with a praised worship at 7:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th at 10:00 a.m. with pastor Mike Cassonova officiating at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
