Aziyel Zylus DeLeon

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Aziyel Zylus DeLeon, known affectionately as "Papacito" and "Fat Fat." Born on November 16, 2025, Aziyel left this world far too soon on May 11, 2026. Though his time was brief, the radiant light he brought to those around him was unmistakable and deeply cherished.

Aziyel was a handsome and enchanting little soul, whose affectionate and silly nature brightened every moment. Fond memories of Aziyel include the day of his birth, the joyous sound of his laughter while watching Daniel Tiger, tender moments of waking beside him, playful times spent together, and quiet days fishing—each memory a testament to the deep love and happiness he brought to his family.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted parents, Leah Lovington and Christian DeLeon, who treasured every moment with their beloved son. Aziyel’s life was also celebrated by his grandparents: Amber C., Ray L., Chris L., Jacob D., and Juanita T., who held him dearly in their hearts. His extended family, including numerous aunts and uncles—Jacob, Isaac, Josh, JayLee, Jaylin, Aniaya, Jerian, Kaiah, Kaycen, Annabelle, Chris Jr., Nevaeh, Hailey, Hope, Jr., Jeremiah, Rayven, Aubri, Maliki, and Ava—also carry the memory of his sweet spirit with them. Aziyel’s great-grandparents, Linda Rodriguez, David Carrizalez, Juanita Torrez, Jose DeLeon Sr., Eloisa R. Tamez, and Ruben and Diana Lovington, remain steadfast in their love and remembrance. He was preceded in death by Antonia and Jose Carrizalez, 

Though Aziyel’s earthly journey was brief, the love he inspired and the joy he shared will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of his family and friends. May his soul find eternal peace, wrapped in the love that surrounded him every day.
