Austreberto C. (De La Cerda) De La Cerda

Austreberto C. De La Cerda was born on February 10, 1932 in Edroy, TX, to Nativida Sr. and Maria De La Cerda. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 1, 2020 at the age of 88 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 49 years, Jovita De La Cerda; three sisters, Socoro Olivares, Olivia Hernandez and Alicia De La Cerda; and by two brothers, Jose Angel De La Cerda and Leandro De La Cerda. He leaves behind four sisters, Estella Olivares, Esparaza Flores, Connie Onchando, Aurora Valdez and Janie Perez; one brother, Nativida De La Cerda Jr., and by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Monday, August 3, 2020 from 1-9pm, and again on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 9am-9pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited beginning at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with interment to follow in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
