Austin Monroe Cruz

Austin Cruz, age 17, passed away January 13, 2022 in Lubbock TX. Austin had a gypsy soul with a contagious smile and a huge heart. He was the type of person that never met a stranger. Austin will always be remembered by his family and friends. He is survived by his father Abel Cruz, his bonus mother Veronica Cruz and his biological mother Nikki Rivera, his sisters Alexis Cruz, Gabriela Garcia, and Isabela M. Morales, plus his grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Pedro Cruz, grandmother Maria Cruz, maternal grandfather George Rivera. This is not a goodbye, but we will see you later.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 19 from 3 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
