Aurelia G. Trevino, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 28, 2020. She was born April 1, 1934 in Huntsville to Marcelino and Matana Gonzales. She married David Trevino on April 24, 1965, and they shared 55 years together. Aurelia worked at Grinnel Fire for 30 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and served as a Guadalupana for 60 years. She was a cursillista, Lay Associca of the missionary Catechist of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary.
She enjoyed praying, singing, going to church, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Aurelia will be remembered for her loving spirit and the love she had for all she met. She genuinely loved her church family.
She is survived by her sons Andrew Trevino and Daniel Trevino; her daughter Diana Trevino; her grandchildren Rolando Campos, Isaiah Trevino, Seran Trevino, Kaileigh Trevino and Esmeriah Trevino.
Aurelia is preceded in death by her loving husband, David Trevino, parents Marcelino and Matana Gonzales, her sisters Epifania Flores and Cruz Mojica; her brothers Presiliano Gonzales and Manel Gonzales; and her granddaughter Erica Trevino.
Visitation services will be held Saturday, October 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 4th from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary service Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on Monday, October 5th at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family extends heartfelt appreciation to Accolade Hospice, Sulema her hospice nurse, and Larry the Chaplain.
