Armando Sanchez

Armando Sanchez passed from this life on June 13, 2024 at the age of 71.  He was born in San Juan, Texas on February 9, 1953 to Gregorio and Vicenta Sanchez.  Armando shared 50 years of marriage with his beloved wife Maricelda and enjoyed listening to music and remembering the times they shared. He loved watching cowboy movies as well as sports.  He was a Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed baseball and basketball too. As a welder for Greer General Steel, he played on the company's baseball team.  His family still holds fond memories of watching him play and remembers how he loved smoking cigarettes. Armando loved having family barbecues at "Sanchez Park" and playing "monsters" at the playground. He loved spending time with his kids and grandbabies more than anything. He will be remembered as the greatest father, grandfather, father-in-law and a hard worker.  He is greatly loved and respected.
Armando is survived by his children Elizabeth Constancio, Freddy Constancio Jr., Jonathan Sanchez, Amanda Sanchez, Jonathan Vela, Donna Sanchez, Mark Rivera, Matthew Sanchez, Isaiah Sanchez, and Teresa Sanchez; his grandbabies Alfredo Constancio III, Alexis Constancio, Jeffrey Rodriguez, Joe Daniel Rodriguez, Ayvah Portales, Ayden Portales, Jordan Sanchez, Liam Sanchez, Rayne Sanchez, Josiah Vela, Christian Vela, Abraham Vela, Mia Vela, Danika Sanchez, Damien Rivera, Destina Rivera, Eli Sanchez, Kaiahh Sanchez, Zane Sanchez, Elayna Sanchez; his sisters Teresa Sanchez and Alice Sanchez; and his great-grandbabies Miracle Constancio, Xavier Jr. Rodriguez, and Amaya Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Maricelda, his daughter Brenda Portales, his parents, his brothers Jerry Sanchez, Oscar Sanchez, Joe Sanchez, and Gabriel Sanchez, and two angel grandbabies.

Visitation will beheld from 3:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
