Armando Castro Chavarria left his life to enter his home in Heaven on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the age of 65.
He was born on February 26, 1955, in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico, to Juan and San Juana Gallegos, the oldest of four children. He loved to spend his past time in his hometown ranch called 18 de Marzo in Durango, Mexico. He came to the United States at a very young age with limited education yet he managed to give his family a great life.
He was employed at Gandy’s Dairy as a machine operator and was known as a man with strong work ethics.
He is remembered by his friends who said:
“If there was a person to define as a ‘patriarch’ it was Armando.”
“He was an amazing person with the best heart. He loved everyone.”
“…was a warrior for God.”
Armando was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Roberto Fuentes. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Marcela Chavarria, Marisa Huerta (Ruben); Marco Antonio Chavarria, and Mario Luis Jonatun Chavarria (Michele Ysaguirre); his grandchildren: Jaime Alvarado, Austin Alvarado, Shyanna Huerta, Ezekiel Huerta, Abrahm Huerta, Mario Chavarria, Jr., Samuel Chavarria, Sebastian Chavarria, Aiden Ysaguirre; great grandchildren: Noah Alvarado, Penelope Flores, and Sophie (soon to be born); and his siblings: Connie Muniz (Israel), Ester Fuentes, and Rosario Portillo (Jesus).
His children will remember their “Papi” as the rock of their family who encouraged them to work hard and give their best in every aspect of their lives. Family was everything to Armando. Not only did he love to cook on Sundays just so he could spend time with his family, he also enjoyed dancing, traveling, and gardening. Armando will be remembered for his smile and was loved by everyone.
