Antonio Garcia Torres

February 17, 1966 — February 10, 2022

Antonio Garcia Torres, age 55 passed away surrounded by his loved ones on 02/10/2022 at Shannon Medical Center. He was the husband of Katrina Kay Torres for 38 years. They married on September 3, 1983 at the Weatherby Hall and have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He is survived by his mother Maria Olivia Torres, his wife Katrina Kay Torres, and his son Antonio Isaac Torres, his wife Alexis, Alexander Vincent Torres, and girlfriend Toni and Santana Christopher Torres and his wife Stacia. He is also survived by his brother Fermin (Chacho) Torres, sisters Jessica Altamirano and Olivia Hernandez and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Fermin Torres and Mother in Law Carolyn Marie Garcia.
He was born on 02/17/1966 in Allende, Coahuila Mexico to Fermin and Maria Olivia Torres. He started working for Calvert Collision Center on February 5, 1992 as a painter's helper. He worked his way up and learned as much as he could until he had his own stall to completely tear a car apart to the frame. He enjoyed the kind of work he did, he loved cooking, spending time with his family, dove hunting and being the best dad and "Papa Tony" that he could be. He was a very friendly, kind and lovely soul. He would try to help as much as he possibly could and do it with the biggest smile. He was a wonderful mechanic to anyone who needed him and most of the time he would not take money for his work because he learned something new doing it. He was the happiest with his 7 grandchildren, Annemarie, Annalisa, Yzabella, Lilliana, Aiden, Gabriella and Archer Torres. He will be remembered for his happy beautiful smile and for the Santa Clause beard that so many envied because it was so long and full. Camp fires, looking at the night sky, drinking beer and listening to old music was his passion. He could be found most times working on something that needed fixing or reading on how to fix it. He loved making new things out of items that you never would have expected, like the knives he has made out of railroad spikes, a mini BBQ pit out of a propane tank and was in love with all of his tools that he accumulated. If you did not have a tool for a certain job, chances were that Tony had 3 of them for you to choose from. Tony very rarely was upset, he was very calm; he always said "What good does getting mad do, does it change anything?" He was a great husband, awesome brother and wonderful father. His family wants to thank everyone for your love and support during this very difficult and so sorrowful time. He was taken way before anyone was ready. Your are oh so missed Mi Amor!!
