It is with a sad heart that we announce that our precious mother has left this earthly life to be in God's eternal Glory.

Our mother lived a full life as a faithful Christian, a devoted mother, a friend, and a hard worker. She instilled in her children the love of God and the gratitude of the gift of salvation we receive by grace. Daily she thanked God for the blessings and often shared them with others. She lived by example and always advised her children as well as her grandchildren about life. She had the greatest sense of humor up to her last days. No matter what storm came her way, she always waited for the rainbow.

Mother worked most of her life outside the home. No matter what her job was, she made sure it was always done above expectations. Her work was often recognized by her supervisors and peers. She took pride in doing her job well. She expected that from us too.
She had a close relationship with her family; always communicating with them by phone, writing, and visits. They had a beautiful relationship as siblings and were always teasing each other.

Those that have gone home before her are her parents, Noberto and Filomena Leal, her wonderful brothers Ruben, Juan, Ramon, Roberto, Ramiro, Raul, and Noberto Leal, Jr., her beautiful sisters Elva Gonzales, Benita Garza, and Jovita Lopez, her daughter Erlinda Moreno, and her granddaughter Sonia Corona.

Those that survive her are her sister Eva Garcia, her children Ana and Tony Garcia, Diana and David Lervig, Ruben and Mindy Flores, Israel and Kelly Flores, and Mandy Flores. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, January 30 at 2:00 p.m. with Ruben Flores officiating.
