Anita Gonzalez

Anita Susie Gonzalez, 93, went to be with the Lord on April 05, 2024. She was born April 17, 1930, in Lubbock, Texas. She married her husband, Andrew Gonzalez Jr, on November 15, 1958, and they shared 59 years together.

Anita was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Lubbock, Texas. She enjoyed gardening, watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, bowling and her trips to Las Vegas. She will be remembered for her yard, sweet spirit, and her love for her family.

Anita is survived by her daughters; Toni Ybarra and Terri Krumweide, son-in-law; Don Krumweide, daughter-in-law; Kathi Gonzalez, granddaughter; Michelle Ybarra, grandsons; AJ Ybarra, Christian Ybarra, Timothy Calderon, Michael Calderon, Eric Gonzalez, Ethan Gonzalez, 11 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Gonzalez and her sons Paul and Michael Gonzalez, son in law; Mike Ybarra.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and will continue through Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 7:00p.m.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lubbock, Texas.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park
