Angel Mario Garza, 68, of Lubbock passed away on March 14, 2020. He was born December 14, 1951, in La Pryor to Miguel and Amparo Garza. He attended La Pryor School and was self-employed. Angel enjoyed fishing and playing pool. He was well known and loved by many. Angel will be missed dearly and remembered for his outgoing personality and as “El Indio.”
He is survived by his three sons, Angel Jr., Jeffrey, and Miguel Garza; his two daughters, Esmerelda and Selena; his thirteen grandchildren; his three brothers Miguel Garza, Lorenzo Garza, and Jose Garza; and his five sisters, Balentina DeLeon, Nora Cisneros, Nina Perez, Josie Cortez, and Ernestina Benitez.
A graveside service will be held March 25, 2020, at 10:00AM at the Lorenzo Cemetery with Minister Paul Cortez officiating.
