Alfredo "Freddie" Deleon Paez

Alfredo DeLeon Paez passed from this life on January 14, 2025 at the age of 62.  He married Dora Ortiz on November 29, 1981 and they shared 25 years together.  They had two children, Leslie Ann Paez and Alfredo Paez, Jr. On February 1, 2014 he met Flora Suarez his companion of 10 years.  He was employed at Lubbock Auto Auction and enjoyed 25 years as a Little League umpire.  He had a passion for Little League umpiring, a great love for eagles, but most of all he loved his 49ers. He enjoyed fishing, bingo, and going to the casino.  He also enjoyed flea market vending. Alfredo will be remembered for his love for his family and his great sense of humor.

Alfredo is survived by his daughters Leslie Ann Paez and Maddie Suarez, his sons Alfredo Paez, Jr. and Enrique Suarez, his grandchildren Nicolas Alfredo Paez, Anthony Zuniga, Jazmin Michell (Jayton), Arryonah Martinez, Aubree Martinez, Miliani Paez Smith, Gabriella Paez, Natalie Paez, Jayce Paez, Andres Paez, Angel Paez, and Jayda Paez, and his great-grandchildren Halston Michell, Nazalynn, N’zayla, and Niyiahn Suarez.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with a Rosary beginning at 7:00pm.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
