Agapita Jimenez

Agapita Jimenez, 65, passed from this life on October 5, 2023, at home. She was the wife of Ramon Jimenez. They married on July 4, 1974, in Lubbock, TX and shared 49 years together. She was born on February 17, 1958, in Beeville, TX. She attended high school in Lubbock at Lubbock High. Agapita was a member of the Dallas ISD PTA. She enjoyed Crafting, cooking, and yelling at Dad that “The TV is too loud”. She will be remembered for her smile, big heart, putting others first, and telling her husband, “Don’t forget to dust the ceiling fan.” She is survived by her husband, Ramon Jimenez; sons, Gilbert Jimenez, Raymond Ray Jimenez, and Gary Jimenez; daughter-in-law, Anna Villegas Jimenez; grandchildren, Jimmy Jimenez, Gary Jimenez Jr, Brittany Jimenez, Briann Jimenez, and Mariah Jimenez; and by her furry babies, Gordo, Chippy’s, Chica and Orejon. Visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2:30 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 pm.
