Adelita Martinez

Adelita Serrano Martinez passed from this life on January 12, 2024 at the age of 67. She was born April 8, 1956 in Sinton, Texas to Jose and Maria Serrano. She married Juan C. Martinez, Jr. on June 7, 1973 and they shared 50 years together. She was an active member of La Luz del Mundo for 43 years. Adelita enjoyed worshipping the Lord, baseball, and Loteria. She loved laughing and spending time with her family. She was a great cook and brought her family together. She set an excellent example of serving the Lord. She will be remembered as a great mother, wife, sister, mother-in-law.
Adelita is survived by her husband Juan C. Martinez, Jr., her eight children Ruby, Betty, Juan III, Jose, Priscilla, Rachel, Naomi, and Joel, her 39 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Hilda Martinez, and her grandsons John Isaac Martinez and Humberto Kalias Perales.
The viewing will be held at Guajardo Funeral chapels 3:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday January 18, 2024. The funeral services will be held on Friday January 19, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. Here at Guajardo's proceeding to Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
