Adelaida Aguirre

Adelaida Aguirre passed from this life on June 21, 2022 at the age of 77. She was born April 13, 1945 in Big Spring, TX to Sotero and Crisanta DeLeon. She received her G.E.D. in 1985 and worked as an activity director at Lfd Hospitality until 2002 when she retired. In 2005, she married Ramon Moreno. Adelaida was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, and going to church. She will be remembered for being a faithful wife, and a loving, caring mother.

Adelaida is survived by her husband Ramon Moreno, her children Arthur Licona, Jr. (Sylvia), Maria A. Diaz (Natividad), Amanda Gavaldon (Max), Rebecca De La Rosa (Robert), her special granddaughter Gabriella Barrios, and her best friend, her protector, her dog Mocito.

She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Licona, Sr., her father Sotero DeLeon, her mother Crisanta DeLeon, and her brother Pete DeLeon, Sr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with Rev. Richard Valle officiating.
