Adela (Salazar) Lopez

Adela Lopez of Lubbock was born on October 21, 1952 in Brownsville, TX to Jose Elias and Manuela Salazar who preceded her in death. Adele went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 31, 2018 at the age of 65 years. Adele was also preceded in death by her brother, Jamie Salazar. Adele is survived by her children, Jaime & Irene Lopez of Lorenzo, TX, Ruben & Jenny Lopez of Anton, TX, Oralia & Dante Quinton of Lubbock, TX, and Michelle & Patrick Davila of Lubbock, TX; sisters, Elena Gonzales of Anton, TX, and Adelina Villanueva & Manuel of Shallowater; and by seven grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday and Friday at 7pm at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Visitation will be held Friday from 9am-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am.
