Abram Garcia

Abram Motes Garcia passed from this life on June 22, 2023 at the age of 85. He was born April 14, 1938 in Poth, TX to Nieves and Maria Garcia. On July 4, 1958 he married his beloved Amelia and they shared 64 years together. He was a plasma machinist at Scott Manufacturing until he retired in 1993. Abram enjoyed playing the accordion and the bass guitar. He was a member of the choirs at San Ramon Catholic Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He will be remembered for his love for his family, his music, and his amazing mechanical skills which he often utilized when he helped others in need.
Abram is survived by his loving wife Amelia Garcia, his children Abram Garcia, Ricky Garcia, Albert Garcia, Marco Morales, Kathy Cruz and husband Johnny Cruz , Christina Rendon and husband Roger Rendon, and Lisa Hinojos and husband Alfred Hinojos,19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Michelle Angel Garcia, his sisters Maria Sanchez, Jovita Jimenez, and Angelita Marroquin, and his parents.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on Monday, June 26, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27 at San Ramon Catholic Church in Woodrow, Texas.
Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
