Aaron Drake

Aaron Jacob Drake was born May 1, 1973 in Lubbock, Texas and passed from this life on February 16, 2024 at the age of 48. He attended welding school in San Marcus. He worked for his family's company Drake Lawn Sprinkler then later joined Area Wide Irrigation as a foreman. Aaron enjoyed riding his motorcycle, drawing, and playing his guitar. His creativity and talents were often expressed though his welding and sculpting art. He was a member of The Worship Center and had a gift for teaching the word and spreading it to others. Aaron deeply loved Jesus. When he shared the love of Christ with others, Holy Spirit was visible in him! He will be remembered for his smile, laughter, and immense love for his children.
Aaron is survived by his children Landon Drake, Terresa Drake, Luke Lawerance, Jacob Drake, and Joshua Drake, his mother Carma Jones, his father Robert Gustin, his grandmother Beth Quisenberry, his brothers Brady Drake, Travis Drake, his stepbrother Matt Craig and wife Sara, his nieces Mattie Mae and Annie Belle, his stepsister Christi Loney, his nephews Aiden and Ethan Loney, his nephew Ricky Arend, his niece Casey Arend. He is preceded in death by his father Gary Drake, his grandfather L.V. Drake, his grandmother Lovella Drake, his uncle James Drake, and his mother Regina Gustin.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16 at 10:00 a.m. at The Worship Center with Pastor Todd Turnbow officiating.
