Guadalupe Rodriguez, of Lubbock, TX was born in Lubbock, TX on June 1, 1947 to Antonio Oliva, Sr. and Margarita Lozoya Oliva who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jessie Galindo and Beatrice Oliva. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Rodriguez with whom she was married to for more than 24 years. She also leaves behind two brothers, Edward and Antonio Oliva; two nieces, Alondra Briones and her three children, Arizela, Micaela and Anthany, and Minka Alonzo and her son Vicente; and by one nephew, Angel Oliva and his two children, Zackariah and Zanydiah; and by numerous other nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 1-9pm, and again on Wednesday from 9am-9pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm, all a Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 7 beginning at 10:00am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
